Rohit Trivedi is a Research Assistant working with Embedded and Distributed Generation (EDGE) team to carry out research on Pan-European projects for microgrids operation and control in local energy market framework.
He possesses professional and academic experience in managing projects ranging from assisting in development of power system software to the experiment assisted learning in an academic startup. Rohit has worked as Power Systems Software Engineer-Intern at TNEI Services Ltd assisting in upgradation of existing version of the IPSA software.
Prior to that, Rohit was a research assistant at University of Bradford for a Quantum Machine Learning project dedicated to healthcare system. Rohit is well versed in multiple software to produce component and system-level design, MATLAB, and Simulink for the analysis of Renewable Energy Sources integration into the grid with strong knowledge of IPSA, ETAP and PowerWorld for the power system simulations. He also volunteers for CIGRE UK as Membership Coordinator, NGN member for CIGRE Working Group C1.45 and as Young Professional Ambassador (YPA) for the IET.
