Orcid Ruchi joined IERC in July 2019 supporting the research projects in Smart Energy Services and Regulatory Innovation theme. She is leading the European Commission funded projects and also assisting in writing proposals for external funding. Ruchi is a Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Govt. of India) Certified Energy Auditor and holds first class Masters in Energy Studies from University of Pune, India as a scholar of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India.
Before joining IERC she has worked with Energy Auditing firms based out of Bangalore in India and have carried out several projects including Electrical Health Analysis, Electrical and Fire Safety Analysis, Utility Bill Analysis, Energy Consumption Analysis. She has also done remote energy management for US based retail chain during her internship. In addition, she has contributed in implementation of India’s first Parabolic Trough Technology Solar Thermal Power Project as a Project Coordinator. Working with a diverse range of organisations, she has gained widespread knowledge & experience in project management and writing executive & technical reports.
