Dr Rodrigo Cedeno

Postdoctoral Researcher
Dr Rodrigo Cedeno is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Tyndall National Institute. He holds a PhD in Geomatics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where his research focused on applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to atmospheric pollution using Earth Observation data. He also holds MSc degrees in Geoinformatics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and in Environmental and Land Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
 
His research focuses on the application of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science to extract actionable insights from complex datasets, develop robust estimation models, and design scalable data processing workflows for energy and environment-related challenges. His work bridges advanced analytics with real-world decision support, enabling data-driven understanding of complex systems.
