PhD Studentship: Development of Next-generation grid-ready smart inverter for super home

The Intelligent Grid (iG) Research team at International Energy Research Centre (IERC), Tyndall National Institute, University College, Cork, invites applications for a PhD Studentship in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to developing a next-generation grid-ready inverter to address the smooth integration and control of Super Home DERs and Appliances (Heat Pump, Electric Vehicle, etc) in the Irish Low Voltage Distribution Network (LVDN). The closing date for applications is 19th January 2024.
